Winemaker(s): Bernard and Benoît Landron — a father-son team farming 25 hectares organically and crafting expressive, low-intervention wines rooted in the Atlantic-influenced terroir of Nantes.
Winemaking: Direct-press, fermented in concrete with native yeasts, bottled early as pét-nat and left undisgorged. Unfined, unfiltered, minimal sulphur.
Name Meaning: “Natürlich” means “naturally” — a nod to the domaine’s hands-off, minimal-intervention philosophy.
Interesting Fact: The vineyards sit on mica-schist — a rare soil in the Loire — giving the pét-nat its subtly salty, seaside character.
Serve With: Oysters, prawns, goat’s cheese, salads, snacks.
When to drink at Christmas: If you’re having seafood at any time – this is the one (including if you’re kicking off the day with scrambled eggs and smoked salmon)
