Prosecco Superiore Extra Dry, Col del Lupo NV
Where: Valdobbiadene, Veneto, Italy
Grape: Glera
We don't stock much Prosecco at KASK (as it's EVERYWHERE else), so when we do, you know it's a good one. This is elegantly and harmonious with notes of apple, fresh pear and peach, and with a hint of acacia which makes it sing
A little something we think you should know: contrary to the name, 'extra dry' is actually not the driest version of Prosecco. Brut Nature is the driest option and means there is no added sugar. Extra Brut is almost bone-dry, with less than 6 grams of sugar per litre. Then there's Brut (less than 12g per litre) and then we have Extra Dry (12-17 grams per litre). Then Dry (17-32 g/l) and finally Demi-Sec which comes in with a big 32 or more grams of sugar per litre.
